Softpay is looking for a Technical Project Manager who wants to be a part of an innovative company founded by some of the strongest profiles within the payment industry.

Softpay has launched a solution that is changing the way shops and consumers are making contactless payments, by building a mobile app solution to replace the existing physical infrastructure and thereby disrupting the payment industry. We are working with all the major payments schemes and a range of acquirers, banks and partners to make our product even better.

The position

We are searching for a Technical Project Manager and product owner of integrations who will have the main focus of connecting and expanding the technical integrations with partners on a global level. Some of these integrations are fairly standardised, while others have greater levels of complexity and requires an extensive project to complete. You will be part of the product management team at Softpay, report to the Chief Product Officer and have touch points with most of the organization. 

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Manage the integration projects and technical relationship with acquirers, banks and related partners
  • Analyse and transform business requirements into solutions with architects and the integration team
  • Drive and support the required certification and approval processes with stakeholders 
  • Support our Sales and Product Management teams on technical dialogues with partners
  • Streamline and improve integrations from/to Softpay


  • At least 5 years of experience as a technical project manager or similar job role 
  • At least a couple of years experience as a Software Developer
  • Good documentation and communication skills, including excellent English skills (written and spoken)
  • Experience from the payment industry or a start-up/scale-up company
  • Personal drive, problem solver and desire to do “the impossible”
  • Ambitious and strive for quality in everything you do
  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment


  • Experience with EMV card payments, ISO8583, ISO20022, REST
  • Experience with Java, AWS, SQL
  • Experience with PCI DSS, tap-to-phone, PCI MPOC
  • Proficiency in other major european languages, i.e. german, Italian, french, spanish, etc.

Location preferences

Applicants from Europe or with work visas for European Union will be given a preference while selecting a person for this job position. The primary working location is from our office in Copenhagen.
