Softpay is looking for a HR Manager who wants to be a part of an innovative company founded by some of the strongest profiles within the payment industry.

Softpay has launched a solution that is changing the way shops and consumers are making contactless payments, by building a mobile app solution to replace the existing physical infrastructure and thereby disrupting the payment industry. We are working with all the major payments schemes and a range of acquirers, banks and partners to make our product even better.

The position

Our people are a key asset to us and we are searching for a HR Manager who will have the task of focusing on the existing Softpay team, and also lead the recruitment of new talents for our continous growth . You will be part of the Business Operations team, and have touch points with everyone in the organization and a wide range of external persons and partners.

The position is scoped to be 25 hours per week.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Professionalise people skills in Softpay
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies
  • Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
  • Profile and promote Softpay to support recruitment of the right talents
  • Maintain HR systems, processes and guidelines
  • Partner with the management team to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned
  • Develop team spirit in the company


  • Bachelor or Master in Human Resources or similar
  • At least 5 years of experience within a relevant HR role and with recruitment
  • A people person who loves to build relationships
  • Fast at connecting and establish trust with potential candidates
  • Speak and write excellent English, and reasonable Danish 
  • Knowledge about the Danish Employees Act  
  • Personal drive, problem solver and desire to do “the impossible”
  • Strive for quality and structure in everything you do
  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment


  • Experience from the software tech industry or a start-up/scale-up company
  • Experience in applying for visa and relocating employees  

Location preferences

The main working location is from our office in Copenhagen where most of the development team is based. Applicants from Europe or with existing work visas for the European Union will have our preference.
