Softpay is looking for a Finance Manager who wants to be a part of an innovative company founded by some of the strongest profiles within the payment industry.

Softpay created a new and market-changing contactless payment solution that is changing the way shops and consumers are making contactless payments, by building a mobile app solution to replace the existing physical infrastructure and thereby disrupting the payment industry. We are working with all the major payments schemes and selected partners (including Nets) to make our product even better.

Job Role

Ensure a finance function with high quality and validity in the day-to-day work and in the business and financial reporting

Key responsibilities 

  • Responsibility for daily finance function
  • Preparation of and ongoing follow-up on budgets and forecasts
  • Monthly standard reporting to management and owners
  • Responsible for the general administration of the office (Facility Management)

Key tasks 

  • Daily bookkeeping and reconciliation
  • Preparation of salaries, holiday accounts, etc.
  • Customer and partner billings
  • Preparation of and follow-up on annual budgets and ongoing forecasts
  • Preparation of material for the audit in Denmark.
  • Preparation, reconciliation, and settlement of VAT in Denmark
  • Ad hoc tasks

Success criteria/Key goals 

  • Operate a high-quality finance function
  • Consolidation and financial statements that gives a true a fair view of the company’s results and financial standing
  • Run an administration that works to the satisfaction of the entire organization

Critical experience 

  • Significant experience in day-to-day financial tasks including bookkeeping, invoices bills, salaries.
  • Experience in standard monthly reporting
  • Experience in preparing data for annual audit
